The underground storage tank boasts a design featuring two robust steel walls accompanied by an interstitial leak detection well. The inner steel underground storage tank ensures unparalleled structural strength, whereas the outer tank, crafted from corrosion-resistant fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), offers exceptional durability. A distinctive standoff mesh coupled with a mylar layer effectively separates the steel and fiberglass tanks, creating a uniform interstitial space. This configuration ensures swift and precise leak detection through continuous monitoring.
